We have honed our design process and services over years of experience to ensure we provide an efficient but in depth design service that is split into the following stages:

Clients Brief

During the brief stage we take time to learn about our client’s requirements and aspirations, how they intend to to use their property and find out about their personal style, lifestyle and aspirations. We build a picture of each project and the brief from a site visit or through floor plans and photographs. We ensure that we understand all influencing factors such as budget and timescale and any structural or additional architectural requirements. At the end of this thorough briefing stage the client will receive our proposal which outlines the brief as we understand it and an estimated budget for all FF&E and our associated design fee.

Concept Design

By interpreting the clients detailed brief we then present our concept designs which consist of floor plans and furniture layouts along with any architectural and structural alterations that may be required. These are accompanied by our mood board presentations which contain samples of all our proposed finishes along with imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts. This is perhaps the most collaborative stage of the design process and  we encourage and invite our clients to give as much feedback as possible to ensure we are on target to achieve their vision.

Detailing

Once concept designs are approved and signed off we then progress on to design development and detail design stages. Finalised bespoke furniture and joinery packages are presented along with any additional interior architecture drawings which may be required. This is also the stage where final finishes are chosen and curated art and accessory proposals are presented to the client for approval. A fully itemised breakdown of costs in line with the agreed budget is also presented.

Realisation

Following on from the detail stages, all schedules of works will be outlined and agreed upon. Works will commence once all onsite requirements have been met. Our project coordinators and designers will attend regular site meetings to ensure our designs are being carried out to our exact specifications and to ensure that the project is progressing as planned. Our clients are updated throughout this stage and we oversee the snagging during the snagging period, allowing our clients to enjoy their property with complete peace of mind.
